Elpress has cable joints for low voltage 1 kV with heat-shrink insulation. The insulation is made of polyolefin and the joint bodies are internally coated with glue that melts upon heating at the same time that the joint bodies shrink. When the glue is pressed forward out of the shrunken body, the installation is finished and the joint becomes entirely watertight. There are kits for 3-, 4- and 5-conductor cables.
A system with screw terminals, Click & Heat, which goes from 10 to 240 mm² divided into 4 kits where everything is included. Adapted for stranded and solid aluminum and copper cable, round and sector-shaped conductors, which do not need to be round-shaped.
A system with crimping sleeves that takes several areas, Crimp & Heat, which is mainly to joint 4G or 5G cable of stranded 16-25 mm² Al and make joints to 10-16 mm² Cu in Class 1, 2, 5 or 6. Elpress hand pliers EW1025 or TB-dies TBKA9-11.5 together with a suitable Elpress tool are used to make the joint. Meets the requirements as per SS-EN50393.
