Elpress pre-insulated and uninsulated end terminals are made of tin-plated copper. The end sleeves have measurements as per DIN 46228 (not TWIN). The insulation sleeve is made of PP (polypropene) and have a shape that is comparable with the easy-entry principle.
It is easy to guide the cable properly in the cable clip as the insulation sleeve is of an “easy-entry” type, which means that it guides the cable correctly in the clip.
End sleeves are used when a perfect connection on a cable end is needed. With our end sleeve, you avoid splayed strands and reduce the risk of cable breakage. Moreover, they create a lasting contact pressure and a large contact area. Upon crimping, a trapezoidal or square geometry is formed.
When using our crimping tools and end sleeve, a connection is obtained that meets the requirements according to VDE 0609.
