Quality and sustainability at Elpress. The responsibility we take every day
Quality and sustainability are not side projects at Elpress. They are fundamental parts of how we develop products, select suppliers, conduct production and meet our customers. At a time when demands for transparency, traceability and accountability are increasing, these issues are more relevant than ever – both for our customers and for our owners, the Lagercrantz Group.
Behind this work is a dedicated quality and sustainability department that ensures Elpress meets high standards every day, both internally and externally.
Structured and long-term work
Elpress works systematically with quality and sustainability throughout the value chain – from supplier to finished product and on to use in critical applications. This involves ensuring compliance, robust processes and continuous improvements, but also taking responsibility for environmental impact, ethical supply chains and clear reporting.
The work includes quality and environmental audits, supplier follow-ups, deviation management, measurement and calibration processes, and the development and updating of EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations). All to build trust – over time.

The people behind the work
Johan – Quality Technician and Measurement Technician
Johan is responsible for Elpress’s measuring equipment and calibration. He calibrates all measuring instruments – approximately 1,500 per year – and conducts internal measurement training. Johan is also an important resource for measurement assignments, calibration of customer pallets and arrival checks of delivered materials to ensure that they meet our high quality standards.
Jim – Quality Engineer, with a focus on in-house production
Jim is responsible for quality assurance of the company’s own manufactured products and associated processes throughout the production chain. The work includes internal quality and internal audits, analysis of deviations, and preventive and continuous improvement work to ensure that products and processes meet high standards of quality, performance and reliability.
Anna – Environmental Engineer
Anna is responsible for Elpress’s sustainability reporting to the Lagercrantz Group and leads the work of developing and updating the company’s EPDs. She demands environmental compliance from suppliers, works with ethical supply chains, ensures transparency regarding waste, transport and emissions, and handles customer enquiries. Her work is central to developing and clarifying Elpress’s sustainability efforts, both internally and externally.
Daniel – Quality Engineer, with a focus on suppliers
Daniel works with a special focus on external quality and collaborates closely with the purchasing department to quality assure Elpress’s suppliers. He conducts internal and external quality audits and ensures that customer complaints are registered, handled in a structured manner and responded to in accordance with customer expectations regarding systematic and preventive measures. In this role, SQA work is a central part of creating stability and trust.
Tobias – Quality and Environment Manager
Tobias heads the department and is ultimately responsible for Elpress’s quality and sustainability work. With a holistic perspective, he ensures that the work is well anchored in the business, in applicable requirements and in the owners’ expectations. The role involves both strategic responsibility and close collaboration with production, purchasing and management.

Transparency as a competitive advantage
For Elpress, quality and sustainability are not just about meeting requirements, but about building long-term relationships. Through clear processes, documentation and open communication, we create security for our customers – and a stable foundation for future development.
It is work that goes on every day, both behind the scenes and in the open. And it is the people behind the processes who make the difference.
